A cryptocurrency is a digital medium of exchange that uses strong cryptography to secure transactions, control the creation of additional units, and verify the transfer of assets with distributed ledger technologies. Cryptocurrencies are a type of alternative currency or digital currency.

In the Reserve app, a user can carry out cryptocurrency transactions with the cryptocurrency of their choice using FTX as the benchmark rate.

For cryptocurrency deposits, users select from RSV, USDT (Tether), USDC, AXS / SLP or DAI, indicate the amount they wish to deposit, and select the account from which they wish to deposit (if the user doesn’t have a registered account they will be asked to create one). The app will then provide the user with the destination wallet address, and the user will need to enter the Txid or Hash transaction number to confirm the deposit. They will then see the funds reflected in their Reserve account. Withdrawals work the same, but in reverse.

Users can deposit Reserve dollars into the app via Zelle transfers, using their own or third-party accounts.
